Dance
The arts center is proud to professionally train dancers in liturgical dance training with a focus on multi-disciplines forms of dance. Students will have an opportunity to learn ballet, modern jazz, tap, African, flag, pantomime, praise dance, movement, and sign language.
The Inner Faith Ambassadors of Dance (formerly the Inner Faith Dance Ensemble)
The Ambassadors of Dance are a professionally traveling dance troupe. Under the former Ensemble the students have performed and selected as a semi-finalist for the McDonalds Gospel fest. They have traveled in performed in the following famous Cities: Charlotte, NC, New York, NY, Newark, NJ and more! Music
Voice Performance-Make a joyful noise with Gospel, Inspirational, Classical, and Cultural music. Practice operatic voice and sight singing. Learn music theory, history, and appreciation.
Instrumental training: Make a beat with the African, Percussionist, or Conga drum! Travel through our Saturday mornings jungle drums! Strike a key on the piano and keyboard. Study chords, notes, tones, and sing the melody of the song. Guitar fans are easy to please with our plucking sounds and melodies.
* Music lessons are offered in group or private lessons for children and adults. All ensemble classes require a audition, music recommendation from a school or teacher and two years of artistic training.
Theater
Take the stage with dynamic drama classes. Learn key acting terms and definitions. Students have the wonderful opportunity to have fun with drama games, scene building, and improvisations.
