Rahsona Elder was born and raised in the City of Paterson, NJ. Mrs. Elder holds a Bachelors of Arts degree from the prestigious Fairleigh Dickinson University. She serves as the Founder/President of the Inner Faith Performing Arts Center, Inc., (IPAC). With over a decade of experience with youth development, programs, intervention/prevention services, and children advocacy, she is committed to the well being of children and families. The recipient of several community awards including Congressional recognition for her work with youth. She is a 2008 Dr. Martin Luther King Drum Major for youth semi-finalist. In 2003, Today^s Christian Woman National Magazine recognized Mrs. Elder as a "Everyday Hero." Mrs. Elder has served on several non-profit boards such as the Paterson Education Fund and the Rutgers University Certificate in the Arts Advisory Committee. She resides in North Jersey with her husband, Troy and daughters, Imani and Nia. "I believe that every young person has a gift and destined for greatness despite their circumstances or backgrounds.
